Betty Gayle Cooper Fast Time Award Martha Angelone – 1.8 seconds (eighth round) This award is given in honor of Betty Gayle Cooper by the National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame. For the first two years it was awarded to the individual who turned in the fastest time during the first round of the National Finals Breakaway Roping. 2020 – The Wrangler National Finals Rodeo was held at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, due to COVID restrictions in place for live events in Las Vegas, Nevada. As a result, the Wrangler National Finals Breakaway Roping made its debut featuring the Top 15

WPRA Breakaway Ropers. Jackie Crawford won her 20th world title of which three have come in the breakaway roping.
