rinceton, NJ — Construction is in prog- ress, making way for Carnavale Plaza, a new three story mixed-use building and plaza with 23 distinctively de- signed apartments. Carnevale Plaza will take its place on East Nassau St. reviving the neighborhood with a European style plaza to sit and enjoy the delicacies from the new Bon Appetite kiosk in the Plaza and the convenience of TD Bank with onsite parking. Linda Fahmie of ROI Renovations & Develop- ment lead the planning team through design and approvals with persistent determination to create a property that would be in keeping with the charm of downtown Princeton’s lifestyle with carefully designed apart- ments, a roof top patio, onsite parking, bicycle storage, and receptacles for electric cars. “Princeton is a unique place on this earth, graced with a wealth of culture and exqui- site architectural and bucolic beauty” said Fahmie. “I am honored for the opportunity to work with the Carnevale family to transform this site which backs to the Princeton University Campus, to take it’s place on the main avenue in downtown Princeton, at 255 Nassau St..” The 255 Nassau property is owned by two Carnevale fami- lies. Lou and his late brother Henry, purchased the property in 1985 with plans to move their restaurant, the iconic An- nex, to the site. Instead, they accepted an offer from David- son and leased the property to Davidson’s Market. Completion of construction is targeted for late summer/ early fall of 2016. “Rental in- terest has been robust,” said Fahmie, “We are keeping a list of interested parties and to be fair, choice of apartments will be given to qualified tenants based on the date they submit- ted their request”. n P J2 DesignWelcomes Lowry as dir. of strategic partnerships Philadelphia, PA — J2 Design Partnership , a branding, strategy and visual communications welcomed Cody Lowry as its new di- rector of strategic partner- ships.
