O L D F A I T H F U L P r o b a b l y the most famous geyser in the world— hurls a m illion and a half gallons of water 150 feet into the air every seventy minutes, winter and summer. Each eruption lasts about four minutes and this has been going on for thousands of years. O ld Faithful is only one o f a hundred active geysers in Yellowstone National Park. There are more than four thousand hot springs, mud volcanos, bubbling pools and similar phenomena o f nature. The Union Pacific system, known as the National Park Line, takes you right to the park boundary. There is no long bus ride to reach Yellowstone after leaving the train. A visit to this great area, set aside as a National playground, pays handsome rewards in pleasant memories.
