Ernest F. Delle Donne, Chairman of Delle Donne & Associates, presented their plans for "Avenue North" mixed-use redevelop- ment of the 80-acre AstraZeneca site on Concord Pike. The phased-project will create approximately 1.86 million s.f. of office, residential, retail,
restaurant, and hotel accommodations. Office tenants will include Astra-Zeneca, Solenis, and Christiana Care's new head- quarters. The $400 million development will add about 100,000 s.f. of office space to the existing 860,000 s.f. The project will create 335 apartments, a fitness center, day care facility, 175,000-s.f. hotel and conference center, and 200,000 s.f. of retail, plus more for restaurants, as well as structured parking to serve parking needs.
