Judge Linebaugh presided over more than 200 civil trials as a judge in York County from 1997 to 2017, including a five- year term as the county’s presi- dent judge. He now will be part of Barley Snyder’s Litigation Practice Group and will work to grow the firm’s alternative dispute resolution practice. Since leaving the bench, he has worked for a Pittsburgh- based alternative dispute reso- lution firm for the last two years, conducting mediations and arbitrations for all types of civil cases across Pennsylvania. He also has worked as a former mediator and arbitrator for the York County Court of Common Pleas and is a former mediator for the York County Board of Realtors. “I am extremely proud to return to private practice in central Pennsylvania with Bar- ley Snyder,” he said. “Before I was a judge, I worked with the firm’s attorneys for years and found them to be masters of their craft. As a judge, when attorneys from the firm came into my court, I saw nothing from them but respect for the law and care for their clients. Barley Snyder’s attorneys and leadership have proven to be an asset to the entire community, and it’s an honor to join their ranks. I look forward to getting back into a courtroom, this time as a Barley Snyder attorney.” 
