VICTORIAN JOCKEYS’ ASSOCIATION (VJA) The VJA is the recognised stakeholder body representing Victoria’s Jockeys. Its charter is to ensure members are afforded best possible outcomes in relation to matters of health and safety, professional and personal well-being, remuneration and overall working conditions. The VJA ensures a strong relationship exists with Racing Victoria (RV) as the regulator, as well as with RV’s Integrity Services department. The VJA also works closely with individual Clubs throughout the state so that consistent standards are provided at all Victorian racecourses.
