A new highlight race day on the summer racing calendar.
The VRC Standish Handicap Race Day features the Group 3 Standish Handicap (1200m) – providing the winner automatic entry into the Group 1 Yulong Stud Newmarket Handicap (1200m) on Saturday 9 March. The race is named in honour of former VRC Chairman Captain Frederick Standish – and for the first time, it now has its own standalone race day featuring on the summer racing calendar.
