Jenny Kiel Thomason, AIA Senior Associate OMNIPLAN Dallas, TX jthomason@omniplan.com
Jenny has been practicing architecture for 14 years and currently is a Senior Associate and Project Architect at OMNIPLAN in Dallas, Texas. She holds a bachelor’s degree fromWashington University in St. Louis and a master’s from Rice university. Her work since graduating has included K-12 schools, commercial office, mixed use develop- ments and most recently is focused on building a multi-family portfolio within the firm. She has practiced in Texas, Arizona and California and currently, her multi-family projects are part of the revitalizing efforts in the Deep Ellum and Bishop Arts neigh- borhoods of Dallas. In 2016 she was selected to participate in the AIA Dallas Emerg- ing Leaders program. Having served on the AIA Dallas publication committee, Col- umns, since 2016, this year she was named the Editor in Chief of the all-volunteer and award-winning publication with plans to help promote a more robust digital format for the future. Always active, Jenny used to enjoy running marathons and training at the lake near her house with the Dallas Running Club. Since becoming a mom to an even more active little boy, she now runs less and can be found at the playground on the week- ends. In the spirit of growth, her goal for this year is to learn how to ski with her son.
