Nicole Morris Dress, AIA, LEED AP, WELL AP is a senior architect with 30 years of ex- perience as a principal and as a project manager of multi-billion-dollar projects of a wide variety including higher education, high-rise residential, hospitality, and mixed- use projects. In addition to leading teams on projects, she has created mentorship and career advancement programs at her firm throughout her career, ultimately earning national recognition from the American Institute of Architects (AIA) for a comprehensive intern and mentorship program. Nicole has also been involved in various equity initiatives since re-convening and chairing the AIA Philadelphia Chap- ter’s Women in Architecture Committee in 2010. She has organized programs that showcase women presenters, highlight women architects’ achievements, and pro- vide resources for various career stages. For example, she organized and moderated a discussion on the state of women in architectural education leadership amongst a panel of four women architecture program leaders, held at the AIA’s 2016 National Convention. She is currently studying bias interrupters and how to implement within the AEC industry. Nicole is married to an architect and has two teenage boys.
