College – Issue 33

“The first course exceeded our expectations. The boys really enjoyed being in the real world and having such a different experience. We watched the boys develop over the week and were delighted to see them all grow in confidence and, along the way, learn many skills, especially in public speaking. “It was also good to see them tackling some big global issues and looking at sensible ways to provide a solution to help. I think teenage boys sometimes get a bad rap about their view of the world, but this experience showed our boys do have a strong social conscience and have thought hard about what they can do to make any sort of change. “The Ministry of Awesome team have so many contacts and the boys were keen to use these. This helped them understand the wider world of entrepreneurship and how they can be part of it.’’
