Keeping a Victorinox watch looking its best and working perfectly requires regular servicing. Only authorized Victorinox customer service centers are able to make sure the work carried out meets our standards of excellence. – each watch sent to an authorized Victorinox service center is handled by a professional watchmaker. – a diagnostic is performed and a detailed cost estimate made, free of charge (for watches that are no longer under warranty), which is submitted before any repairs are carried out. – once the customer has accepted the cost estimate, our watchmakers carry out all the necessary procedures, including the replacement of any worn or defective components. Victorinox guarantees the availability of spare parts for 12 years for quartz and 16 years for automatic watches after production has ended. After servicing, the watch is returned the customer with a one-year warranty on the work carried out.
MAINTENANCE SERVICES
As it endures daily life, skiing, watersports and sudden variations in temperature, a Victorinox watch requires care and maintenance to make sure it remains reliable and to deliver on its promise of accompanying its wearer on their everyday adventures.
Two types of servicing are available at any of our authorized Victorinox customer service centers.
Every two years, we recommend maintenance servicing. This will ensure that: – the watch is completely water-resistant (it is dismantled, all the gaskets and the crown are replaced if necessary, the case is cleaned, etc.) – the movement works correctly (the battery is changed in a quartz watch, mechanical movements are checked and adjusted) Every six years, depending on the model of the watch, personal use and the local climate, we recommend a complete overhaul. This involves: – a comprehensive revision of the movement (it is dismantled, the functions are checked, any worn component are replaced, etc). – water-resistance and accuracy are also carefully verified.
