STAINLESS STEEL We manufacture cases and components using high-performance AISI 316L stain - less steel, which retains its brilliance and beauty over time. The high percentage of chromium and molybdenum makes it resistant to impacts and corrosive elements such as acids, alkalis and chloride, while the low nickel content means it’s hypoallergenic and REACH compliant. Whenever possible, we use recycled steel and repurpose materials that are cut away during production, to lower the use of natural resources. For exam - ple, our latest bracelets are made using 89% recycled steel, and the percentage in our case bodies is typically more than 60. TITANIUM Mastering this metal required years of study, testing, hard work and the devel - opment of new processes and technolo- gies, but it was worth it. Lighter than steel and denser than aluminum, our titanium is not only strong, durable, and resistant to the elements – it’s also biocompatible and hypoallergenic. We use two different titanium grades: – ASTM Ti-Grade 2 is unalloyed 99.2% titanium, the purest used in our watch-
es, with traces of iron, carbon, nitrogen and oxygen. This makes it ductile and corrosion-resistant, ideal for a brushed or sandblasted finish. – ASTM Ti-Grade 5 is an alloy of 89.2% titanium, 6% aluminum and 4% vana - dium, with traces of iron, carbon, nitro- gen and oxygen. Its composition makes it even stronger and harder, ideal for polished parts like bezels. CARBON We use only high-quality Swiss Made Carbon Composite of the PA9T-CF40 family. Its long carbon fibers (40%) rein - forced by aromatic polyamide resins makes it extremely light, strong, durable, and hypoallergenic. Its stiffness, even at high temperatures, and resistance to heat, chemicals, scratches, abrasions, and creep (i.e. to harsh environments and sustained stress), make it ideal for com - plex and precise shapes such as our case body or bezels. It features a subtle mar - bled effect making each piece unique. PVD (PHYSICAL VAPOR DEPOSITION) Widely used in watchmaking, PVD is a high-performance, pollution-free and non-allergenic technology that is also
