Miss Foster appeared to tell the girls that visiting hours were over, and she smilingly took the sheet of paper that was thrust into her hand and read: “ G reetings from a H appy S ick G irl “ God is Love And so He gave His own Son The world to save. “Jesus died Upon the tree, Shed His blood For you and me. “Then from out The darksome grave He arose With power to save. “When our hearts, So dark with sin, Open wide T o let Him in, “W e shall walk With garments white, And His will Be our delight.” “ It is lovely,” cried Mary. Ann’s eyes were full of happiness. “ I’ll have a copy for each basket of your hospi tal flowers,” she promised, as Mary said good-by. “ It is a sweet testimony for the Lord Jesus,” said Miss Foster as she came to take Ann’s supper tray away. “But you soon will have to change the title, my ‘sick girl,” ’ she added as she lifted the empty tray and looked into the happy face that in a few hours had taken on a look of new life. “ Do you think your key really worked?” Miss Foster asked as she tucked a tired child in bed. “ Did it work?” Ann’s sleepy eyes opened wide. “ I should say so 1Why, I never really knew Mary before. She is a wonderful friend. And I have found I have something Jesus can use. It’s a lovely, golden key, and I thank you—and Him—for it.” Memory Work for June Question: How did the Lord Jesus treat the little children when He was here upon earth?
