IMS Anaesthetic Gas Adsorbers The IMS Anaesthetic Gas Adsorber contains activated carbon, a material with a porous structure that absorbs organic anaesthetic gases. The weight of the canister must be monitored so it can be changed before it becomes saturated. If saturated, any waste gases will be exhausted into the working environment. The canister must be replaced when the total weight reaches 1000g.

absorption. The Cardiff Aldasorber Medical Filter is made of a robust construction with a poly-laminated, wipe-clean outer surface and is easily connected to any anaesthetic apparatus by use of a suitable duct/ expiratory valve. The inlet and cap are integral and the connector is designed to accept a standard 22mm anaesthetic tube from the duct / expiratory valve.
