Terumo Surflash Straight IV Cannulas The Surflash™ feature is designed to confirm the entry of the catheter in the vein increasing first puncture success rate. The higher success rate significantly increases patient comfort due to less multiple punctures. Additionally less time and material is used and costs per puncture are reduced. The Surflash™ I.V. Catheters are opaque and kink resistant further improving the patient comfort and safety.

Terumo Surflo IV Cannulas The point of the introducing needle is carefully cut and honed to an ultra-sharp triple bevel that minimizes patient discomfort and tissue trauma. The gently tapered catheter tip aligns with the needle bevel to provide smooth transition from needle to catheter during insertion. Each Surflo® IV catheter is individually packed in a sterile, easy-to-open plastic case. This rigid plastic case provides added protection to both the catheter and the user. The case is colour-coded for easy identification of the catheter gauge and has a tamper-evident seal for additional safety.
