HOW TO INSTALL ROD RAIL TRADITIONAL RAILING TREX SIGNATURE
NOTES: » Trex Signature Cocktail Rail brackets (sold separately) are for use with either Trex Signature Cocktail or Trex Signature Traditional designs. For a 6' section, use 4 brackets and screws provided, for 8' section, use 5 brackets and screws provided. » Top Bracket Covers should be installed prior to the attachment of the 2x4.
Traditional Railing When Using Trex Posts
6. Remove 2 x 4 from rail. Using a router bit, forstner bit, or something similar, rout out this area to allow 2 x 4 to fully seat onto top rail. Attaching Deck Board to Top Rail 7. S ecure boards to top 7
rail using Trex Signature Cocktail Bracket (sold separately). Ensure that there is a bracket at each end of the railing section, then space brackets approximately every 24" and attach with 4 screws provided.
1. Install Signature Posts per instructions provided.
NOTE: Pre-drilling before attachment is recommended.
2. Follow instruction steps 1-28 on pages 6-18 for railing installation. NOTE: Top Bracket Covers should prior to attachment of 2x4. Attaching 2 x 4 to Top Rail

3. Measure between posts and cut deck board to length.
4. Place deck board onto top rail.
5. O n underside of 2 x 4, mark outline of bracket cover location.
