We can now offer an All-Inclusive package to include any fuel used (for both the engine and the heater), the insurance excess & cleaning at the end of the holiday. It depends on what boat you are on and how long you are going for. Due to the volatility of the cost of fuel, we cannot give quotes for the All-inclusive package in advance. The price of the All-Inclusive package will be quoted on your day of departure. CLEANING The boats are hired as self-catering accommodation and you are required to return the boat in a clean state, with all dishes washed and put away, bins emptied and beds stripped.You should also sweep all floors and the decks should be cleaned and free of mud and dirt. The bathrooms should be cleaned as well. There is an option to pay for extra cleaning to cover the inside and outside general clean. A Carrickcraft speciality, a one-way hire allows you the time to see much more of the river than would otherwise be possible. Start from any Marina and finish at any other. Ideal option for air-travellers as we can collect you from the airport, take you to one marina, you cruise to a different marina, and we take you back to the airport! You will be advised of the direction of your one-way about 2 weeks before you arrive. Please note that this charge does not include the cost of moving you, or your car, back to the marina from which you started.
Pets are NOT PERMITTED on Roscommon, Longford, Linssen, Limerick and Tyrone. They are very welcome on all other boat types. We can recommend excellent kennels close to the marinas for your pet should you need them. .

Book before the 30th November 2025 & receive a 15% discount, book before 31st January 2026 & receive a 10% discount.
For short-breaks over Irish Bank Holiday weekends (6th April, 4th May, 1st June, 3rd August and 26th October) minimum booking is 4 days. Short breaks are not possible on one-way hires. For the Roscommon, Fermanagh, Tipperary, Waterford, Leitrim, Galway, Linssen, and Wexford Classes, short breaks will go on sale in early February. Watch the website for boats becoming available or contact the Reservations Office. Go to www.carrickcraft.com for the most up-to-date prices with all current offers included. You will be required to pay for any fuel used during your holiday. It is difficult to tell how much, as some of you will motor a lot, and some of you will not. On average, a 2-berth boat uses approximately 3.5 litres per hour, a 4- berth boat uses 5 litres per hour and a 6-berth boat will use 7 litres per hour. EXCEPTIONS
4 days for price of 3 Book a 4-day holiday starting on a Monday and pay for 3 days. 10 days offer on Fermanagh, Clare, Book a 10-day holiday returning on or before 9th Kilkenny, Wave Princess, Carlow May or starting on or after 5th September only & Wave Duke pay for 7 days. (cannot be combined with any other offer). You will be required to leave a returnable insurance excess when you collect your boat from the marina. This excess will be returned in full when the boat is returned undamaged to the correct marina. The quickest and safest means of payment is by Credit Card. Cheques cannot be accepted for insurance deposit.
