Osvojivši Zlatnog lava u Veneciji za „Jadna stvorenja“ sa Emom Stoun i Vilijamom Defoom u glavnim ulogama, Jorgos Lanti- mos je posle više pokušaja uspeo da osvoji glavnu nagradu jednog od dva najvažnija festivala. Pokupio je i Zlatne globu- se ove godine, a posle samo dve projekcije na Festivalu autor- skog filma, konačno ćemo ovaj fenomenalni film moći da gle- damo u bioskopima, na čije repertoare stiže 8. februara. By winning Venice’s Golden Lion for Poor Things, starring Em- ma Stone and William Dafoe, Yorgos Lanthimos finally suc- ceeded, after several failed attempts, to secure the top prize of one of the most important festivals. The film also proved victorious at this year’s Golden Globes, and after just two screenings at the Belgrade Auteurs’ Film Festival, we will finally be able to watch this phenomenal film in cinemas, where it ar- rives on repertoires from 8 th February. Film „Dario Argento Panico“ autora Simonea Skafidi- ja prati život proslavljenog redite- lja Darija Arđenta, a tu je i „Little Girl Blue“ rediteljke Mone Ašaš, sa pro- slavljenom glumicom Marion Koti- jar, koji prati priču majke rediteljke sa glumcima koji tumače stvarne likove iz stvarnog života. The programme includes the latest crea- tions in the field of documentary film
that will have their premieres in Serbia. Watch the award-win- ning Wim Wenders’ documentary Anselm, in which this iconic director creates a portrait of Anselm Kiefer, one of the most in- novative and important painters and sculptors of our time. The documentary Dario Argento Panico, directed by Simone Scaf- fidi, follows the life of acclaimed director Dario Argento, while there’s also docudrama Little Girl Blue, directed by Mona Ach- ache and starring acclaimed actress Marion Cotillard, which follows the story of the director’s mother and has actors por- traying real life characters. 52. Međunarodni filmski festival Međunarodni filmski festival Fest biće održan od 23. februara do 3. marta u Beogradu i to 52. put. Prvi Fest, sa podnaslovom „Hrabri novi svet”, otvoren je 9. januara 1971. u Domu Sindikata, projekcijom filma „Meš” Roberta Altmana. Zamišljen kao go- dišnji presek najboljih filmova sezone, FEST je izrastao u jednu od najznačajnijih filmskih smotri i postao jedan od glavnih do- gađaja u kulturnom životu Beograda, uz koji su odrasle mnoge mlade generacije. Ono što ga je krasilo svih proteklih godina jeste činjenica da je bio širom otvoren za sve kinematografije sveta, i za sve relevantne autore, ali i filmove koji se neće naći na bioskopskom repertoaru. 52 nd International Film Festival - FEST The International Film Festival, FEST, will be held in Belgrade for the 52 nd time this year, from 23 rd February to 3 rd March. The first ev- er Fest, under the slogan “A Brave New World”, opened on 9 th January 1971 at Belgrade’s Trade Union House with a screening of the Robert Altman film Mash. Envisaged as an annual review of the best films of the preceding season, FEST evolved to become one of the most important film festivals and one of the main events in the cultural life of Belgrade, which many young generations grew up watching. Characterising it throughout all these years is the fact that it has remained open to cinematography from all over the world, but also to all relevant filmmakers and works that won’t be found on the regular cinema repertoire.
Adaptacija naučnofantastičnog klasika Fren- ka Herberta i nastavak velikog bioskopskog spektakla „Dine“ okupljaju zvezdanu eki- pu koju čine Timoti Šalame, Zendaja, Rebe- ka Ferguson, Kristofer Voken, Havijer Bardem i mnogi drugi. Radnja nastavlja putovanje Po- la Atreida dok ide na ratni put osvete protiv onih koji su uništili njegovu porodicu. Suočen sa izborom između ljubavi svog života i sudbi- ne poznatog univerzuma, on nastoji da spre- či užasnu budućnost koju samo on može da predvidi. Šta će biti, znaćemo 29. februara, kada je zakazana premijera.
This adaptation of Frank Herbert’s sci-fi classic, and the follow-up to the huge cinematic spec- tacle that was Dune, brings together a star cast comprising Timothée Chalamet, Zendaya, Re- becca Ferguson, Christopher Walken, Javier Bar- dem and many others. The plot continues follow- ing the journey of Paul Atreides, as he heads on a warpath of revenge against those who destroyed his family. Facing a choice between the love of his life and the fate of the known universe, he endeav- ours to prevent a horrific future that only he can foresee. We will find out what happens on 29 th February, when the premiere is scheduled.
