Santa Clara Water - 130 Years Strong
Santa Clara began delivering water to the community in 1894. In celebration of their 130th year, Water & Sewer Utilities branded their high-quality drinking water, showcasing the new look at the recent Art & Wine Festival. Their eye-catchingly oversized Water Quality Report Card detailed Federal and State standards that the City’s water surpasses, while the new brand logo attracted desirable attention and questions. The Tap Water Express provided water to attendees, who were encouraged to continue hydrating locally by choosing Santa Clara’s superb tap water over less frequently tested bottled water of unknown origins. The Department continually advocates for sustainability in multiple ways; switching from bottled to tap water tops their list in protecting our planet from plastic pollution.
