Learn to skate like a Roller Derby Skater with Ad Astra Junior Roller Derby! Kick off the day watching the Ice Babies and Frosty Flakes compete in a roller derby match. Then, it’s your turn to put on the skates with professional instructors! No experience necessary – you’ll learn derby lingo and skate skills like how to stop, turn, and skate your way around the rink.
Learn the ABCs of becoming a safe and responsible babysitter in this full-day training offered by certified instructors with SafeSitter! Participants will learn about accident prevention, emergency response, and general child and infant care. Join the American Royal for the largest horse show of the year! Nearly 900 horses on site create an incredible display of some of the finest Saddlebred horses in the country. You’ll have the opportunity to visit with the animals’ owners, riders, and trainers before seeing them perform in Hale Arena!
