How do your Girl Scout cookies get to your troop? Learn all about logistics in this fun, hands-on workshop with our friends at DLX (Dynamic Logistix)! Find out how your Girl Scout cookies get from one place to another, understand how the ingredients are sourced, then baked, packaged, and shipped. Girl Scouts will build confidence in the areas of creative problem solving, build a better understanding of how to do things efficiently, and find ways to connect their unique skillsets to the field of logistics. Join us for some weekend fun with Science City! THE place to experience the amazing world of science first-hand. Spend a few hours or an entire day exploring three massive floors and over 100,000 square feet of themed spaces packed with more than 300 indoor and outdoor interactive exhibits and high- energy play spaces to workout both mind and body. Make your own jewelry that’s safe for the environment with our friends from the Magpie Creative Reuse Collective! Learn how to create your own jewelry and tinker with material exploration and individual designs. Then, use your new skills to create your own necklace, bracelet, or garland using leftover paper!
