Cotton, on its’ own is a highly flammable fbre, but is the most widely used material in the world. It’s inherent softness is enhanced by its ability to keep the wearer cool in warm climates and warm in cold climates. Hence making it the best fbre for workwear. In our Fire Retardant range we continue to provide this great fbre, with added treatments, or in conjunction with other fbres that help delay flame or arc flash situations. PARVOTEX® INHERENT FIRE RETARDANT FABRIC Is an Inherent Fire Retardant fabric with a combination of Modacrylic/Cotton/Polyamide/Polyarylate/Anti- static in-built fbres for protection against electric arc and flash fre hazards. PARVOTEX® fabric is durable, soft, retains its appearance and its Fire Retardant components do not wash out.
PYROVATEX® DURABLE FLAME RETARDANT FINISH 100% Cotton Drill with Pyrovatex® Fire Retardant treatment providing maximum protection against heat and flame hazards with the added comfort, feel and breathability of cotton. This chemical treatment PYROVATEX® forms a link and penetrates the cotton fbre, compared to other treatments that simply coat the top layer of the fbre.
