C-PVC Pressure Reducing Valve Type 582
Operational Overview: Pressure Reducing Pressure reducing valves, often referred to as pressure control valves, ensure that the pressure at the valve outlet remains constant. They are used wherever a higher system pressure needs to be reduced to a pre-defined value. Depending on the application, fluctuating pressures are evened out or devices branching out from the main pipeline are protected against ex- cessive pressure. For use in high-purity systems, a special version of the valve is available with an elastomer-free piston.
