adaptive, and promising programs that have been recommended by SAMHSA’s National Registry of Evidence-based Programs and Practices (NREPP). All UMADAOP Lucas County prevention programs utilize curricula that involve all or some of the six CSAP prevention strategies. The strategies are: information dissemination, education, community-based process, alternatives, environmental, and problem, identification, and referral (PIR).
Prevention programming is also provided to address fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD), opiate-related drug overdoses, suicide education and prevention, trauma, and violence.
