INQUIRY QUESTION What was the way of life of the Vikings, how was their society structured and how did it change? In recent popular culture, we see the Vikings as medieval bullies, crazed warriors with swords and axes. But is that the whole story? The Vikings had a complex society. They were also farmers, explorers, inventors and traders. They played games, told stories during winter, and followed rules and regulations in their fair society.
