Some of the key sustainable features of the Commons include: • solar panels on the roof, which generate renewable energy for the building, and rainwater harvesting systems that reduce reliance on the municipal water supply • a building design to maximise natural light, reducing the need for artificial lighting and lowering energy consumption • high-quality insulation materials to improve energy efficiency and reduce heating and cooling costs • green spaces that are integrated throughout the development, promoting biodiversity and providing residents with access to nature in an urban environment. The project also encourages community interaction and sustainable living practices, making it a noteworthy example of eco-friendly urban development.
