Concluding Sentences To score well, make sure you directly answer the question and provide clear reasons to support your answer. A concluding sentence isn’t required, but if you have time, you can restate your opinion at the end. Just ensure it doesn’t take away from the main points . While formal conclusions might not always be needed for TOEFL iBT Speaking tasks, they’re an important part of academic talks and presentations, so it’s good practice to include them when appropriate.
