Integrated farming uses the natural behavior of animals in a way that helps to keep both animals and crops healthy and thriving. By integrating a particular animal with a specific crop, farmers create a system in which both animals and plants provide for each others’ needs. Note-taking for Speaking Task 4 For Speaking Task 4, it is useful to have a system for identifying key points and details in your notes. You could do this in different ways, such as by writing “K” for key points and “D” for details, underlining the key points and numbering the details, or visually arranging the ideas so that the organization is clear, like in the example below. The goal is to identify: • The main topic of the lecture, • How the information is organized (e .g ., advantages vs . disadvantages, comparison vs . contrast, steps in a process), • Important supporting points made during the lecture.
