Biola Broadcaster - 1953-03

Our President -speaks •.. Someone once osked that great man of God A. B. Simpson whether he thought it more importont to give to o missionary

organization or o school which trains young people for service, and quickly he replied: "I would not diminish the attack on the front lines of Satan, but my strong belief is that we should support o Christion institution training young people in ·11vi11g the Word of God." We feel ·much the some about this truth and it's simply because so many think o work such as the Bible Institute is supported by many means, therefore they need not give.

Actually we count on each of you monthly readers to help in the tremendous task and responsibility, and na gift is too small. Sa will you remember the work of The Bible Institute of Los Angeles in your prayers, osking God to lay the sacri– ficial burden upon your heart. Our most since¥' and grateful thanks on behalf of each of these students you are helping us to train. In the years to come, you will see the interest paid as these ambassadors go out into world-wide service. Now, may the pages of this month's Broadcaster enrich and challenge your heart for Christ.

Our Broadcaster Camer a caught President Sutherland standing beside a television camera during a recent pro– duction. Such programs cost a great deal of money and time, but it has been shown that many have found Christ through this God-given medium. People retain only about ten percent of what they hear while they remember about eighty percent of what they see. We pray we may be able to use television again to proclaim Christ.
