TEACH BACK SESSION 2

25 min. per participant

The aim of the teach back sessions is for participants to practice the skills addressed in the course so far while further exploring the content.

This teach back session is to allow instructors to demonstrate and enable participants to deeply understand the concept of the IQT Module teach back sessions’ feedback. It is also the opportunity to show how feedback should be perceived in the IQT Standard and the approach and best practice of how to conduct feedback as IQT Trainer delivering the IQT Module. The aim is thus not to specifically evaluate the individual teach back instructor’s performance. This teach back session is a workshop prepared (based on a pre-workshop task assignment) by each participant as a single instructor lesson. Whatever props, material, equipment, training and visual aids (deemed relevant for each individual teach back session) shall be brought to the workshop by the individual workshop participant.

Topic: Either a self-elected topic or the GWO BST introduction lesson topic, human factors.

Learning objectives:

16) The participants can recognise and follow the feedback criteria stated for the teach back sessions (Knowledge, Basic level)

17) The participants can take responsibility of organising the learners (Ability, Intermediate level)

18) The participants can take initiative to adjust and direct dialogue and learning activities to support relevant learning structures and traditions (Ability, Intermediate level)
