PARTICIPANTS EXPERIENCE, PART 2
After successfully having completed this lesson, the participants can:
50) Explore the learners’ experience level within their vocational field and life experience (Knowledge, Advanced level)
51) Distinguish between different profiles of experiences and adapt the teaching accordingly (Skills, Intermediate level)
TEACHING METHODS AND TEACHER ROLES
The aim of this lesson is to enable the participants to design participant centred learning activities and choose relevant teaching methods and suitable associated teacher roles that follow adult learning principles and relate to the GWO Taxonomy Framework. This should enable the participant to select teaching methods which are in line with the instructor’s didactical considerations on organising learning activities (Lesson 16).
After successfully having completed this lesson, the participants can:
52) Explain benefits and challenges in relation to different training strategies, including designing learning activities and choosing teaching methods which are relevant to applicable learning objectives, and chosen based on what the instructor is aiming to achieve using the teaching method (Knowledge, Intermediate level)
53) Explain the correlation between a teaching method and a suitable associated teacher role and behaviour (Knowledge, Intermediate level)
54) Recognise basic pedagogical elements (characteristics) of a teaching method (Knowledge, Basic level)
55) Explain a minimum of three instructor led (ILT) teaching methods, preferably within structured methods/systems such as cooperative learning structures (Knowledge, Intermediate level)
56) Apply their insight and understanding of the GWO taxonomy, multiple teaching methods, and the responsibilities of the instructor, when choosing their training strategy (Skills, Intermediate level)
57) Apply knowledge on teaching in an online environment (Skills, Intermediate level)
DIGITAL LEARNING TOOLS
The aim of this lesson is to enable participants to effectively integrate digital learning tools, including artificial intelligence, into GWO training environments. Participants will develop the ability to critically select, apply, and evaluate digital strategies and AI-generated content to enhance engagement, learning transfer, and instructional quality in both in-person and remote training settings. This lesson fosters reflective practice, ethical awareness, and practical experimentation with prompting techniques.
