INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGN PART 2 – DIDACTICAL CONSIDERATIONS

The aim of this lesson is to ensure that the instructor consider relevant didactical factors when planning training and learning activities in order to conduct well-planned and thought through learning activities that meet the learning objectives in a safe and motivating manner.

After successfully completing this lesson, the participants can:

15) Act independently analysing didactical factors’ influence on the training (Ability, Intermediate level)

16) Apply relevant didactical factors when planning training (Skills, Intermediate level)

17) Discuss didactical factors influence on the training and how they are correlated (Knowledge, Intermediate level)

ADULT LEARNING PART 1, PRINCIPLES OF MOTIVATION

The aim for this lesson is to enable the participants to support future target audience in developing motivation and driving force to learn.

After successfully completing this lesson, the participants can:

18) The participants show interest in how motivation impacts the commitment and engagement to learn (Ability, Basic level)

19) The participants can describe principles of barriers against learning and how to address it (Knowledge, Basic level)

ADULT LEARNING PART 2, LEARNING PROCESS AND APPROACH

The aim of this lesson is to explore how different ways of learning influence participant engagement and outcomes, and to support trainers in planning and conducting learning activities that respond effectively to individual learning needs, challenges, and strengths.

After successfully completing this lesson, the participants can:

20) Discuss how the individual learning processes are affected by multiple factors (Knowledge, Intermediate level)

21) Take responsibility for planning and delivering learning activities that reflect an understanding of different ways people learn, and respond to both the benefits and challenges this presents. (Ability intermediate level)
