Instructor Qualification Standard / V2 DRAFT 2025-08-26_

This teach back session to be prepared is a 20 min lesson on a topic as outlined below. This being a lesson implies, that the fellow course participants must learn something from the teach back.

It is anticipated that overall time required per participant is 45mins which includes session introduction (5mins), teach back (20mins), feedback (15mins).

Introduction to include the teach back Instructors directions to the group determining their role and level of anticipated understanding.

The teach back topic is selected during the programme from the GWO Taxonomy Framework list of concepts which may include:

Learning Objectives and Action Verbs

Fidelity

Feedback

Reflection and Experiential Learning

Coherence and the Alignment Triangle

Evaluation

Teach back The aim of the teach back sessions is for participants to practice their abilities in the design and delivery of coherent training aligned with the concepts of GWO didactical requirements. Participants can apply their knowledge from the course in all stages of planning, preparing, delivering, and assessing.

Learning objectives:

43) The participants can take responsibility for multiple delivery methods (Ability, Intermediate level)

44) The participants can take responsibility to manage participants in the classroom, training facilities and digital environment (Ability, Intermediate level)

45) The participants can take responsibility of leading learning activities effectively and safely (Ability, Intermediate level)

46) The participants can take responsibility to ensure, that as many participants as possible are active at the same time (Ability, Intermediate level)

47) The participants can take responsibility of communicating with learners purposefully after reflecting (Ability, Intermediate level)

48) The participants can take responsibility of providing formative and summative feedback to learners (Ability, Intermediate level)
