LESSON 7 – TEACH BACK SESSION 2
LESSON 8 – AIMS AND LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The instructor shall:
5.1.45 Demonstrate how to interpret aims and learning objectives while alignment them with taxonomy and activities in lesson planning
5.1.46 Present a time out to model how this alignment was used to plan a lesson from day 1
The participants shall:
5.1.47 Work in small groups to examine a lesson through the levels of aim, learning objectives, and activities within one domain (knowledge, skills, ability)
5.1.48 Groups will share their findings
LESSON 9 – LEARNING OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES
The instructor shall:
5.1.49 Introduce backwards planning to reach aims and objectives as well as alignment to the standard
5.1.50 Demonstrate how the taxonomy and adult learning principles influence planning and assessing a lesson
5.1.51 Guide small groups through the process of creating a learning objective in each of the learning domains:
a.
knowledge
b.
skills
c.
ability
Note
Groups may use topics of their own choosing
The participants shall:
5.1.52 Work in small groups to create learning objectives for their next teach backs
