a. Step 1. Analyse key learning points from a training element and produce a visual learning presentation (one slide or poster)

b. Step 2. After discussions as below, the participants must re-design and produce a new visual presentation of the same key points, this time without words and only figures and symbols

5.1.254 Lead a discussion within the group about challenges, limitations, and benefits from different forms of designs and types of visual aids. Base this on the assignment examples and the participants’ experiences, both as instructors and learners

The participants shall:

5.1.255 Engage in the assignments and design and produce posters or PowerPoint slides

5.1.256 Reflect and share their own experiences with the strengths and limitations of using visual aids in training

5.1.257 Discuss how they may use visual learning tools in their own teaching

The learning objectives will be further met during the following participants’ presentations during the IQTX course

LESSON 9 – LEARNING REFLECTIONS

ELEMENT 9.1 – DIDACTICAL TOOLS

The instructor shall:

5.1.258 Introduce how to use the learning logbook for collecting personal notes during the IQTX course while observing methods (training strategies and practical exercises methods) applied by the IQT Trainer

The participants shall:

5.1.259 Re-visit the concluded learning activities and reflect on their own learning experiences. To support reflections, they can use a methodology log and their learning logbook, and post any relevant questions to the instructors or others 5.1.260 Additionally; facilitate participant sharing their reflections in pairs. Having to share with a colleague, may be a motivation to focus on the day’s activities, Receiving the other person’s reflections may enhance the learning

5.1.261 Receive the instructor’s feedback and pose clarifying questions when relevant
