PROFESSIONAL WRITING

An interdisciplinary program to develop writing skills for professional, technical, and business environments. It is intended to serve professionals already working in careers as well as students planning professional or business careers. Learn the rhetorical requirements for specific forms of written communication, including letters, memos, reports, proposals, promotional materials, and press releases. Also learn effective techniques for editing your own writing for clarity, correctness, and style. Completion of the program with a grade of B- or higher is required for the Certificate. Total Credits: 17

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Employers need skilled employees capable of leading projects. This certificate will prepare you to meet this need with knowledge specific to successfully managing projects. Gain skills in this high-demand field that, when combined with the soft-skills classes, will give you a competitive edge in the marketplace. Project Management skills are applicable in any industry. Total Credits: 21
