If you have any questions, email me, and I will try to help you get only what you need. • Palette knife – medium trowel 3” for mixing paint • Brushes – hog or synthetic hog white bristle brushes sizes 2, 4, 8, 10 OPTIONAL - Winsor and Newton, Series 7 size 0 miniature Kolinsky Sable *I use this for super fine details, hairs, and signature. • Stretched canvases or gesso panels - 11”x 14” to 16” x 20” (Toned preferably), Bring more than one if you are fast! • Plastic wrap to cover your palette or you can get a palette holder, like Masterson Palette Holder 12” x 16” • Palette – Richeson Gray Matters paper palettes 9” x 12” or bring the one you already have • Odorless mineral spirits (for oil painters only)– Gamsol, Turpenoid or equivalent Buy the kind sold at art stores, not hardware stores; that stuff stinks to high heaven! • Silicoill brush cleaning tank or wide mouth pint Mason jar for mineral spirits • Roll of paper towels • Gamblin Solvent Free Gel • Oil or acrylic paints: • Flake white Hue or Lead White(150-200 ml tube)

• Venetian red (37-40 ml tube) • Scarlet lake (37-40 ml tube) • Permanent carmine (37-40 ml tube) • Cobalt blue (37-40 ml tube)

• Viridian (37-40 ml tube) • Winsor emerald (37-40 ml tube) • Yellow ochre (37-40 ml tube) • Winsor yellow (37-40 ml tube) • Ivory black (37-40 ml tube)

*I use Winsor and Newton, however Utrecht, Lukas (1862 series) and Gamblin are also good brands at reasonable prices for oils. For acrylics, I recommend Golden Heavy Body, Winsor and Newton, Liquitex or Nova Color. Beware of the cheap stuff! Painting is like cooking..... it starts with good ingredients.

Note : You can leave your station set up for the entire course of the workshop !
