4.5.5 INSTALLING TESTING FIXTURES Test fixtures feature a 15.9mm diameter attachment. This attachments slides onto the Base Clevis and Load Cell Clevis. The test fixture is secured to the Clevis adapter using a 8mm grip pin. Both Clevis devices include two (2) locking rings. Use the rings to tighten the clevis to the sensor, base and test fixture. If testing is performed using a force gage, you may also use non-clevis test fixtures. Simply screw the testing fixture into the base adapter plate and align the force gage stem to the center line of the test fixture.
4.6 USING ANTI-SKID MOUNTING CLIPS You may secure the FMM test frame to your workbench using the anti- skid mounting clips (p/n L1-FMMCLIP). The clips attach to the feet on the FMM tester. The clips can then be screwed down onto your work bench. NOTE Anti-skid clips should always be used on extended travel models: FMM-110X, FMM-330X and FMM-550X.
