AUCTIONEERS’ NOTE: At the age of 91 years old (nearly 92), Oscar Koenig has made the difficult decision to disperse his registered Holstein herd, along with his machinery at absolute public auction! Oscar’s father died when Oscar was only 13 years old and he has been milking and farming ever since. With all of the responsibilities he had running the farm, Oscar was determined to get his high school diploma and then later in life a college degree. Mr. Koenig has also traveled the world, has set on many boards (college board and financial church council board) and still today is current on world affairs. Evergreen Lawn Farm (Home of Dominion Holsteins) is 100% AI’d and has been a closed herd for years. SALE ORDER: (Times are approximate.) Auction will begin at 9:00 A.M. sharp with miscellaneous tools for about 30 minutes, with the machinery to begin selling at 9:45 and the Holstein herd to start selling at 11:00 A.M. sharp. There will be a second ring beginning after the machinery which will sell the balance of the tools and related farm support items. (This ring will begin at 11:00 A.M. – the same time as the Holstein auction.) HEALTH CERTIFICATES: Prophetstown Vet Clinic will issue health papers. These animals have not been tested for TB. WARRANTIES: All information provided in this catalog (pedigrees, service sires, due dates, etc.) are believed to be accurate; however, these animals are being sold “As Is” with no warranties, either expressed or implied. No adjustments will be made. SHIPPING: Shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer. All animals must be removed from the premises by Wednesday, February 14th.
