Exciting times are ahead for us! I’m thrilled to share with you all that our law firm is moving to a new office we get to call home. This move isn’t just about changing locations — it marks a significant milestone in our journey, one filled with gratitude and optimism for the future. When I started this practice in 2016, my “office” was far from what you might imagine. It was a humble space with no windows, reminiscent more of a storage closet than a place for legal consultations. I even spent many days working from my kitchen table, surrounded by paperwork and legal texts, wondering what the future might hold. As the years passed, prayers were answered, and we were able to help more and more people in our community. We moved into another space with an actual window that brought in the much-needed sunlight, making those long work hours a little brighter. We eventually expanded to an office with space for me and a paralegal station and then to a larger area accommodating two offices and two stations for our team. Each move has been a step up, mirroring our growth and the expanding needs of our clients. Now, in 2024, we find ourselves ready for the next chapter. Our new office is just up the street but feels worlds away from that first cramped space. It came onto the market just as we recognized the need for more room, and everything about it felt right — the timing, the location, the space. It’s as though the stars aligned to bring this opportunity to our doorstep! This move is more than a logistical change. It reflects our entire team’s hard work and dedication and the trust our clients place in us. It’s a testament to the idea that growth is a good thing and something to be embraced, even if it comes with challenges and adjustments. Our new home is set to open its doors with a grand opening this month, and I am as excited as ever to welcome clients — both longstanding and new. I hold onto the memories of those early days in 2016, working from my A New Chapter in Our New Home Celebrating Our Firm’s Move
kitchen table, with gratitude. Those humble beginnings keep me grounded and remind me of how far we’ve come and the countless individuals who have supported our journey. I invite you to visit us in our new space, where we will continue to offer the dedicated, compassionate legal services you’ve come to expect now from a setting that matches our commitment to excellence. Our doors are always open, and we look forward to making new memories in this special new home, serving our community with the same dedication and zeal that has brought us to this point.
Thank you for being a part of our story. Here’s to new beginnings and continued success together!

How Dads Shape Our Futures With Love and Support The Enduring Gifts of Fatherhood Father’s Day rolls around each year, draped in the cheerful chaos of backyard barbecues, handcrafted cards, and the inevitable ties that, let’s face it, might never see the light of day. Yet beneath these festivities lies something profound: the celebration of dads and their pivotal role in our lives. As an attorney and a father, I’ve come to appreciate more deeply the essential influence of a supportive dad — a gift I was lucky enough to receive in abundance. Growing up, my dad was the epitome of support. He was there for every soccer game, not just as a spectator but as my biggest fan, whether we won or lost. He attended every school event, demonstrating through his constant presence that my interests and achievements mattered. But of all the memories, those that shine the brightest are of the Cub Scouts Pinewood Derby. The Pinewood Derby was more than just a race; it was a father-son ritual. We would spend hours in the garage, shaping and painting our car. Dad taught me about aerodynamics and woodworking, skills I barely understood then but cherished because he imparted them. Those days taught me the value of patience and the importance of doing something well, not just doing it to finish. They are cherished chapters in my life, reminding me of the profound impact a dad can have on his child’s life. For all the dads out there wondering how to uplift their children — whether they’re toddlers, teens, or adults already — the answer is simpler than you might think. Be there, genuinely and consistently. The value of your presence at a piano recital, a soccer match, or even a casual dinner after a tough day cannot be overstated. These moments provide comfort and encouragement that resonate well into adulthood It’s not about grand gestures or expensive gifts; it’s the small, everyday actions that count. Listen to your children, celebrate their successes, provide comfort during their failures, and above all, spend quality time with them. These efforts weave a safety net of love and trust that supports your children throughout their lives.
While board game nights can be fun, nothing beats playing outside in this lovely weather! Lawn games have evolved past playing horseshoes in an overgrown field. What about Jenga Giant, Ladder Toss, or Flickin’ Chicken? You’ll want to try these three family-friendly games with family and friends. Here’s how to play. FLICKIN’ CHICKEN You can’t have a backyard party without a game of Flickin’ Chicken. No, this is not a menu item at a fast food restaurant — it’s a game of skill and daring played between 2–4 capable challengers. Each player chooses one of four uniquely colored Flickin’ Chickens, which they will use for the remainder of the game. In each of the nine rounds, one player throws the target disc as far as possible. Then, the goal of the game is to toss your chicken onto the target disc in the fewest number of throws possible. After the last round, the player with the lowest score is the victor. LADDER TOSS You play this game with 2–4 people split between two teams, each team with its own three-rung ladder set 15 feet apart. Teams take turns tossing their bolas (two balls connected by a nylon rope) underhanded, earning points for bolas that wrap around a rung of the opposing team’s ladder. The higher the rung your bola wraps around, the more points you get. The first team to reach 21 points wins! JENGA GIANT This is the classic game of Jenga made giant ! In Jenga Giant, two players take turns pulling wood blocks from a tower standing about 5 feet tall. Over time, the blocks become crucial to the tower’s integrity, and each pull is a gravity- defying feat. If your pull causes the tower to collapse, you are out, and your opponent has to yell “Jenga!” at the top of their lungs. 3 Novel Games for Outdoor Fun Exhilarating Backyard Competition
Happy Father’s Day, and here’s to the dads who uplift us — today and every day.

THE STRATEGIC ADVANTAGE OF OFFERS OF SETTLEMENT Settle Smarter
When you’re experiencing the aftermath of an injury, understanding the legal strategies available can bring you closer to total recovery. One helpful tactic is the “Offer of Settlement,” which can positively influence your case’s outcome.
motivates the insurance company to consider the offer seriously, knowing that turning it down could lead to higher financial costs later.
We want to share how an Offer of Settlement can simplify your legal process, potentially saving you time, reducing stress, and cutting costs.
HOW YOU BENEFIT The Offer of Settlement is designed to reduce your risks and stress. Settling the case early means you can avoid the unpredictability of a trial and focus on what’s important — your recovery. It also means a potentially quicker resolution, allowing you to put the matter behind you and move forward. A TOOL FOR PEACEFUL RESOLUTION We use the Offer of Settlement as a proactive approach to resolve your case fairly and swiftly. It shows the other side that while we are ready to fight for you in court, we are also open to settling on fair terms outside of it. If you’re dealing with the aftermath of an injury and feeling overwhelmed by the thought of going to court, knowing that there are strategies like the Offer of Settlement can be truly comforting. Our team is here to navigate these waters with you, ensuring you feel supported every step of the way.
WHAT IS AN OFFER OF SETTLEMENT? An Offer of Settlement is a proposal we make on your behalf to resolve your dispute before it goes to trial. It’s like extending a hand to find a peaceful resolution that benefits you. This proposal outlines what you would want from the other party to settle the case, giving them — often an insurance company — a clear choice: accept a reasonable offer now or face the possibility of a trial . THE POWER OF THE SHIFTING PROVISION What makes this tool especially powerful is the “shifting provision.” If the insurance company rejects your settlement offer and the case goes to trial, they risk paying significantly more. Specifically, if the court awards you at least 25% more than what you offered in the settlement, the defendant must cover part of your legal fees on top of the judgment. This provision

4 Host a Movie Night Under the Stars
Moonlit Movie Magic Hosting the Ultimate Outdoor Movie Night
Whether it’s blocking pucks during a street hockey game or checkmating chess hustlers at the park, traditionally indoor activities take on an entirely new feel and flavor when taken outside. While a rare sight these days, movie-
goers worldwide used to enjoy cinema from the comfort of their cars at drive-in theaters. These made a brief resurgence during the pandemic, but now that movies are rolling in theaters again, the fad has begun to die off. These days, if you want to watch a movie, it seems like you are limited to three options: Watching it at the theater, on your TV, or on your phone or tablet. Now, I think we can all agree that watching a movie outside on your phone does not make for a great cinematic experience. Debtrette, a TikTok influencer and mom, has a suggestion. She put a spin on an old classic — family movie night — by holding it in her backyard with all the conveniences you would expect at a movie theater — like an air mattress, pillows, and blankets!
bring it outside under the stars? Here are some necessities to make your moonlight movie night truly magical:
•
A portable projector screen, like a sheet on a clothesline
• • • • • •
Portable movie projector
Candy, popcorn, and beverages Some outdoor seating and cushions
Lamps, lanterns, or candles
Warm blankets
The perfect movie to bring it all together
You can find screens and projectors to fit any budget, and your movie selection will depend on the crowd. Just make it fun: Lie back on the grass and watch “Antz” or lounge in the pool while watching “Jaws”! The key is to make the experience unforgettable, and all who share in it will be thankful for your effort to make it all possible.
If you are looking for a fun way to spruce up a traditional movie night, what better way than to
