IS YOUR CHURCH

REACHING FAMILIES

FOR CHRIST?

by Rev. C. Chester Larson

pE A C H iN G a child in your church program doesn’t insure reach ing his entire family. However, if you interest the parents, you can almost be sure o f reaching every one in the family. The First Evangelical Free Church o f Fullerton, California, spells out this philosophy in their slogan: “ The family ehurch with the family in mind.” Whatever this church plans or programs is done with entire families in mind. (A family unit is defined as two or more people who live togeth er.) Each family is important, and so is every member in each family. Every family needs a church— and every church needs families. The Directùry presents 50 missionary works for your interest. Sometime ago we, as leaders o f this Fullerton church, faced these problems: How can w e r e a ch every family that is represented in our church? How can we re emphasize the need fo r every fam ily to have daily fam ily devo tions? Is there anything we can do to help family members study
