M arbella is famous for the rich and famous people that love it, who find their favour- ite holiday spot right here. This place has been made famous by the likes of Deborah Kerr, Ava Gard- ner, Frank Sinatra and Onassis, back in the day, and by Eva Longoria, An- tonio Banderas, Sean Connery, Cris- tiano Ronaldo, Sting, Julio Iglesias and many others. The city is home to as many as four Michelin-starred restaurants, led by Res- taurante Skina, which has as many as two stars and is located in the charm- ing old town, with its white houses and narrow cobblestone streets that are real- ly irresistible. Another must is to check out the unique sculptures of Salvador Dali. Ten of his posthumously produced bronze works are located in the pictur- esque square of Avenida del Mar, be- tween the old town and the seafront, which has become a kind of outdoor museum. Another must, of course, is a visit to Puerto Banús marina, the open- ing of which was attended by Grace Kel- ly and Hugh Hefner, and which is today home to exclusive boutiques of the most expensive brands and the world’s big- gest yachts. Marbella boasts 27 kilometers of coast- line with 24 distinct beaches, each offer- ing a unique experience. These beach- es range from lively urban areas to more secluded, natural spots like the Arto- la Dunes. And, yes, you will definitely go to nearby Málaga (that Air Serbia flies to), a town that is an evocative monument to the life and works of Pablo Picasso, a city bathed in sunshine where this artist spent the first nine years of his life, as testified to by two museums. Picasso always con- sidered himself a Malagueño, and many themes from his earliest childhood would continue to appear in his art un- til the very end. Čudesno mesto pod suncem M arbelja je slavna po svo- jim obožavaocima, po- znatim i bogatim ljudi- ma koji ovde pronalaze omiljeno mesto za od- mor. Debora Ker, Ava Gardner, Frenk Si- natra, Onazis nekada, pa Eva Longorija, Antonio Banderas, Šon Koneri, Kristija- no Ronaldo, Sting, Hulio Iglesias i mno- gi drugi, učinili su ovo mesto čuvenim. U gradu se nalaze četiri restorana sa „Mišlenovim“ zvezdicama, predvođe- ni restoranom „Skina“ koji ima čak dve, a pronaći ćete ga u šarmantnom starom gradu belih kuća i kaldrmisanih uskih uličica koje su stvarno neodoljive. Ne smete da propustite ni jedinstvene skul- pture Salvadora Dalija. Deset njegovih posthumno proizvedenih bronzanih dela nalazi se u živopisnom parku Avenida del Mar, između Starog grada i obale mora, koji je postao svojevrsni muzej na otvo- renom. Naravno, neizostavna je poseta marini Puerto Banus, na čije su otvara- nje svojevremo došli Grejs Keli i Hju He- fner, a koja je danas dom ekskluzivnim
buticima najskupljih brendova i najve- ćim jahtama sveta. Marbelja se može pohvaliti sa 27 ki- lometara obale i 24 različite plaže, od kojih svaka nudi jedinstveno iskustvo. Ove plaže se kreću od živahnih urbanih područja do osamljenijih, prirodnih me- sta poput dina Artola. I da, svakako ćete otići do obližnje Malage (do koje leti Er Srbija), živopi- snog spomenika životu i delu Pabla Pi- kasa, grada okupanog suncem u kojem je umetnik proveo prvih devet godi- na svog života, o čemu svedoče dva mu- zeja. Pikaso je sebe uvek smatrao Ma- lagijancem, a mnoge teme iz najranije mladosti nastaviće da se pojavljuju u njegovoj umetnosti do samog kraja. Za- to je jedno od najboljih mesta za otkri- vanje ovog slikara pre nego što je postao slavan, upravo njegov rodni grad.
