July is the month of some of the most interesting and vibrant festivals across the old continent TOMORROWLAND – Belgium Air Serbia flies to Brussels, and it isn’t far from there to the To- morrowland festival in Boom. One of the world’s biggest and most famous electronic music festivals, it runs over two week- ends in July (18 th -20 th and 25 th -27 th ). BARCELONA BEACH – Spain This electronic and dance music festival is held on Barcelona’s Platja del Fòrum beach, where it brings together the world’s most famous DJs and artists. An ideal choice for lovers of mu- sic and summer who want to enjoy the combination of the beau- tiful Spanish coast and top music production, this year’s festival takes place on 15 th July. ROSKILDE – Danmark Denmark’s biggest music festival unfolds this year from 24 th June to 5 th July and offers a diverse programme featuring the most famous performers from the worlds of rock, pop and alternative music. It is particularly famous for its atmosphere and campsite experience. FESTIVAL D'AVIGNON – France Catch an Air Serbia flight to Nice, then travel just a little further to Avignon to attend one of the world’s most famous theatre festivals. Held over the course of July (5 th to 26 th ), it transforms the city into a centre of theatre, performance and art. SALZBURG SUMMER FESTIVAL – Austria This festival has been bringing world-class opera, theatre and concerts to this city each summer for over a century. With worldwide renown, the Salzburg Festival represents one of the planet’s top celebrations of classical music and drama.
