The Casey Cares Foundation serves critically ill children with diagnoses such as leukemia, sarcoma, brain tumors, cystic fibrosis, blood disorders or lymphoma. The organization supports the children and their families with activities and programs like movie nights, pajama parties, tickets to sporting events and more. “Casey Cares knows that the best palliative care comes from continuous, ongoing support,” said Deputy Associate Director Erin Ritter. “Casey Cares’ bi-monthly customized programs give families dozens of opportunities to create positive family memories.” Such special work requires a special space, and the relationship between St. John Properties and the Casey Cares Foundation is unique: Six months after the non-profit lost its previous office to a fire, St. John Properties provided them new office space quickly. “They also allowed us to customize the space using the talents of our generous donors,” Ritter said. “We’ve been here for

In the case of St. John Properties and the Casey Cares Foundation, one community supports another. Casey Cares lifts the spirits of critically ill children and their families. That motivates countless volunteers and donors, including St. John Properties. “We are very much a community- supported organization,” Ritter said, “and we rely on small- and mid-sized companies to support our mission. Our location makes it simple for anyone to come in and see what we’re all about!”
