The 520,000 s/f industrial property, after an extensive capital improvements pro- gram, was successfully leased and ultimately sold to RealOp Investments, a commercial real estate investment com- pany, on behalf of an institu- tional investor. “Woodmont Industrial Part- ners continues to actively and strategically expand its foot- print into industrial markets along the eastern corridor of the United States,” said An- thony Amadeo , vice presi- dent at Woodmont Industrial Partners. “By combining our redevelopment platform with our ground-up development experience we have been able to leverage a value-add ap- proach in a number of states and markets. We successfully executed on our strategy in the greater Atlanta region and we were pleased to sell the newly-positioned asset to a very reputable buyer.” Woodmont Industrial Part- ners purchased the Mt. Zion Industrial Center in Febru- ary 2018 and executed a sig - nificant capital improvement program, which included the upgrade of new dock equip- ment, office upgrades, life safety system improvements, floor upgrades, interior and exterior painting and new landscaping. Property fea- tures include: 72 dock doors, two drive-in doors, 22-foot clear heights, a 5-inch-thick floor and parking for 110 trail - ers and a new roof. The buyer was represented by Brandon Abdelnour , director of investment sales at Encore Real Estate In- vestment Services , in the transaction. Mt. Zion Industrial Cen- ter is strategically located 10 miles from growing the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport and less than 20 miles fromDowntown Atlanta and provides easy ac- cess to Interstate 75.
