Habitat of Greater Newark builds homes with hardworking Partner Families who supply at least 200 hours of sweat equity. MAREJ to the company, Ryan recently initiated and oversaw a sweep- ing upgrade of the organiza- tion's technology infrastructure, substantially improving operat- ing and financial efficiencies, while enabling a more collabora- tive workflow enterprise wide. The grant will support the building or rehabbing of homes to ben- efit low- to moderate-income families in Essex, Hudson, and Union counties. “In December, I attended the home dedication for the Habi- tat of Greater Newark home at 11 Grand Terrace,” said Jason Pucci , COO of New Jersey- based The Kislak Company, Inc. “I met the Partner Family and toured the home. It was an amazing experience.” He con- tinued, “Our company’s late Chairman Jay Kislak valued mindful and meaningful phi- lanthropy. He would be very pleased with the quality of the Livingston homes.” Habitat of Greater New - ark’s latest projects include two new homes in Livingston and Community Development Block Grant funding to com- plete critical repairs in the cit- ies of East Orange, Elizabeth

and Jersey City. Over 101 families have ben- efited from Habitat of Greater Newark homes built with generous donations from indi- viduals, families, corporations, foundations and faith-based organizations and with sup- port from thousands of volun- teers and other local non-profit organizations over the years. Through its Critical Repair and Healthy Home Initiative, Habitat of Greater Newark also identifies and fixes barri- ers to safe and healthy living conditions such as mold and asbestos. By providing target- ed repairs and improvements such as energy-saving mea- sures and aging-in-place func- tionality, Habitat of Greater Newark works to keep low income families, seniors, and veterans in the homes that they already own. “We are so grateful to every- one at Kislak for their contin- ued support,” said Habitat of fronts.
