It’s HOT Out There!

The days are hot and your a/c is working overtime. With that in mind, it's a good idea to inspect your a/c system now and prevent costly downtime. Beat the heat with these tips:

Tip #1 Inspect & Clean the Condenser Look for problems like bent fins, loose or broken mounts, rubbing abrasion and build-up. Clean the condenser for maximum air flow, as well as any other airflow items mounted with it. These may include

Tip #2 Inspect Charge Ports The refrigerant charge ports

Tip #3 Inspect the Belts

should have caps that seal them off. Often times these caps are removed and lost. This not only allows for debris to build up, but the cap is the primary seal for the service port. So when the cap is missing, refrigerant may be lost causing inadequate cooing and possibly component damage.
