This NPA Construction (Level 5) course provides progression from the NQ Introduction to Skills in Construction course and is supported through our partnership with Morrison Construction and the Bell group. The majority of this course is workshop based although topics such as health and safety and the principles of building construction will be undertaken in a classroom. Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) trainee cards will be awarded to students who have passed the relevant health and safety course and who maintain a high standard throughout the course. There are many construction opportunities for those who are enthusiastic and appropriately trained. The ability to problem solve and execute construction projects effectively will enhance employment opportunities within the industry.

This NC Construction: Built Environment (Level 6) course is designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills and understanding required for employment in a dynamic construction industry. There are so many aspects to construction for the appropriately trained; organising resources, materials, labour, planning and monitoring construction quality and progress. This course allows you to work in the construction industry without following a traditional apprenticeship route, but can also enhance the opportunity for you to be taken on as an apprentice.
