Full-time courses 2023

Counselling Our counselling service offers one- to-one appointments and weekly drop-in groups to provide students with a variety of self-help opportunities to support positive mental health and encourage resilience. We work closely with college partners, to ensure that students can be appropriately signposted to external support and clinical services. The counselling service also offers weekly drop-in groups to learn about mental health issues and to access support. A bespoke listening service offering one-to-one sessions to support students who have additional needs is also available. Mental Health Our award-winning partnership with SAMH has allowed teaching and support staff across our three campuses to be involved in a range of mental health awareness training and we have eight Mental Health First Aiders. All students will be offered access to a mental health course and resources during their induction to help support positive mental health and wellbeing. Our Time to Talk helpline is available to the whole college community and is staffed by qualified counsellors. Call Time to Talk on 0141 272 3786 .

The College provides access to self- help resources and materials for all students to help them manage or improve their mental health. If you are feeling stressed, anxious or feeling low there are self-guided courses and resources designed to support positive mental health and wellbeing. This can help you maintain positive mental health throughout your studies and provides specific resources to help you at times that might be particularly stressful such as the start of your course when you’re meeting new people for the first time, when your assessments start to make you anxious or when you are preparing for exams.
