This is a highly creative, design-led course that embraces all aspects of surface decoration, fabric construction, drawing and design development related to fashion, interior, and accessory design. This includes print, knit, weave, embroidery and garment and product construction skills.

This course is a unique and highly creative Associate Degree Programme that is directly linked into year 3 of the Woven, Knitted and Printed Textile Pathways at Heriot-Watt University. Students will be dual enrolled at both institutes and will be based at the Cardonald Campus for the first two years of the course where they will follow a discrete HND Textile programme focusing on woven, knitted, and printed textiles. At the end of year 2 students will transfer to Heriot-Watt University, Borders Campus to complete year 3 and 4 of the degree, where they will specialise in one of the pathways.
